Fun in Cali

Gregg, sweet Gregg, gave me a trip to San Francisco for Christmas and my birthday! So, we went for my birthday. 1 Week divided in 2. Three nights spent in Half Moon Bay (a small town just 45 minutes south of San Francisco) and three nights in Knob Hill in downtown San Francisco.

The weather was beautiful as you can see from the pictures. Chilly...but so sunny! In fact, they had just had their first SNOW in 20 years the day before we visited! Go figure. They must have known we were really from snow country (NYC and Ohio).

Emma's favorite part of the trip was definitely the aquarium near Fisherman's Warf. They had a tank of just Finding Nemo characters. She nearly had a heart attack from all the excitement when she saw it. She also saw a crab tank and started saying "Crab" and then walked liked one! Gregg and I couldn't stop laughing.

We also got to pet a Starfish.

And daring Daddy helped her pet a SHARK! Needless to say...the girl shows strong signs of wanting to be a marine biologist!

The second runner up were the "arfs" other known as Sea Lions. She nick-named them "arfs" because, well...that's the noise they make!

We all really enjoyed the Japanese Tea Garden. Beautiful flowers, coy fish and all outdoors. Very peaceful.

All in all it was a gerat vacation spent resting, relaxing and seeing some of America's prettiest coastline!
