Charleston Children's Museum

Another vacation day from school sounded a bit daunting to me and a friend. So we decided to make sure we had a lengthy children's activity planned. The Children's Museum of Charleston seemed to fit that bill. A 2 hour DVD filled road trip there. 3 or 4 hours at the museum plus lunch and then another 2 hour DVD filled road trip on the way back equalled a full day. Spent with great friends. And happy, entertained children.

The museum had themed rooms. Each was more exciting than the next for E and C who had
never been there. One room was all water activities. One room was simply a large Pirate ship you could run all over. One room was the "castle" room - 2 stories and complete with costumes. Another room was filled with golf balls and a variety of fun activities to do with the balls. And then there was a open art studio with tons of supplies and geared towards big imaginations!
